Daniel J. McKaughan is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Boston College, where his research focuses on the philosophy of science (including science and values, philosophy of biology, and the historical foundations of molecular biology), epistemology, and philosophy of religion. Professor McKaughan’s work has been published in a diverse range of journals including Isis, Philosophy of Science, Biology and Philosophy, Studies in History and Philosophy of Science, Journal of Philosophical Research, Religious Studies, and Science. He is co-editor, with Holly Vande Wall, of the forthcoming History and Philosophy of Science: A Reader (Bloomsbury, 2017).
