W. Jay Wood is a Professor of Philosophy at Wheaton College in Illinois, where he has taught since 1982. His chief areas of academic interest are epistemology, philosophy of religion, and virtues and vices. He is the author of Epistemology: Becoming Intellectually Virtuous (IVP); God (Magill-Queens University Press), with Robert C. Roberts, Intellectual Virtues: An Essay in Regulative Epistemology (Oxford University Press), and other articles. Favorite pastimes include reading fiction (with a special fondness for Victorian literature), classical music, and dinner time conversations with good friends. He is married with four children.
